A charcuterie board is an appetizer typically served on a wooden board or stone slab, either eaten straight from the board itself or portioned onto flatware. It features a selection of preserved foods, especially cured meats or pâtés, as well as cheeses and crackers or bread. Charcuterie boards are meant to display food.

Made from Sagwan wood and powder coated iron handles it is known for its high quality timber, durability, light weight, and ease of carving. The wood is yellowish blonde to reddish brown.
Sagwan wood is Teakwood. It's teak primarily from India. It's a nice hardwood and popular for cutting boards in kitchens.
